Poor.....Poor....Greg.....

Here's my MAN. So he had surgery to remove a bone spur that was attached to his achilles tendon. So they hacked it off and reattached the tendon. He had it done on the 9th and he had a checkup on the 22nd. He was hoping not to have another cast. He got a walking boot. He still can't have any weight on it. Hopefully in a month or so. Who knows. The funny part was when Sara took off the cast. He said that he looked like Frankenstein. Yep, he did! So she pulled out the pliers and started to take them out. He asked in a very concerned voice, "Are you going to give me any pain medication?" The reply was "No." Then he asked if she could spray something to cut down on the pain. The reply was of course "No." So she went for it and one came out as his leg flew up in the air with a gasp from Greg. I felt like I was taking the kids to get their shots. I told him that he would be OK. The pain would pass and the nurse needs to get it done. So once again she dug down deep and got about 12 staples out. I could hear each once. Nasty. I looked at Greg and he was sweating, I mean sweating. So he asked for a break. So we sat there for about 3 minutes, felt like 15. We were talking about having kids and once I mentioned that we have 4 children, she pulled his leg down and finshed pulling them out. Yep, 20 in all. We laughed, Sara and I did. I would post the video but Greg asked me not to. He is a tough man, cute too.

Ft. Lowell Shootout

Saturday morning came VERY early. Brandon had to check in for his soccer game at 7:00. So to drop off Josua at Auntie Kim's, thank you soooo much, we had to leave the house by 6:15 a.m. Now that is kinda early for me nowadays. Greg is still "Gimping" around on crutches. So we left him at home and the girls and I took Grandpa and Grandma with us. Great first game, lost by one. The team played GREAT for their first game together. So we had over 3 hours to kill until the next game. No reason to head home because by the time we did we would have to come back. So we headed to Lowes, Walmart (I know crazy) and then grabbed an early lunch. Brandon and Megan wanted EEGEE'S (No surprise)and the rest of us headed into Wendy's. So we all ate a Wendy's and hung out there for over an hour. Yes, weird, but it was windy and cold and we didn't want to sit in the car. So onto the next game and it was a tie. Brandon sure loves soccer....The picture is fuzzy. Still need to work on my picture taking..but it was such a great shot
Me hangin' out with the girls.
Silly Grandpa Lomeli!!!!!!!!
The girls sure love their Hannah Montanna.....
This is what happens to Grandpa with too many fries and frosties
Everyone is trying to take a quick nap,

Finally Christmas Morning...Did Santa Come?

Yes...Santa came. Jess and Megan got a manicure and pedicure jar from big brother Brandon. What little girl wouldn't love pink, orange and blue nail polish.
Jessica loves to write stories. I made a binder and put her many stories that she has already written and complied them all together. She said, "Mom, that's why you wanted me to find all my stories."
Joshua didn't know what to do. He didn't know which one to play with first.
Greg has been itching for trip. So have I. I decoraetd a jar with a bunch of stickers about travel and put his Christmas present in the jar. It may take awhile to save up enough.
Joshua wanted nothing more than a bow and some tissue paper. Maybe this light up toy will get his attention.
Eagerly waiting in the hall. Did santa come yet?
Ready, Set, Open.
Yeah, that's what I really wanted. Can you tell by his reaction.
What is a Zune? She wasn't quite sure until Uncle Scott, we all know he is an electronic guru, said "Wow, really cool Jessica." Needless to say, we heard Hannah Montana all day and the trip down to Mexico.
Megan opens so quickly, it's hard to keep up.

Well, 2008 is here!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year to all. We just got back from Mexico. Took off after Christmas to visit with family from Utah and California. It was great to see cousins that we haven't seen in such a long time. We haven't seen Danny since before his mission and he is now going to medical school in, I think, Ohio. Hope I'm right. We stayed at the QUIET house with Jared and Camille and her family. Bedtime was earyl and wonderful. We played many games, scum, trains, cribbage, quiddler and clue. Hopefully it won't be that long until we see everyone again. We did miss Amelia, aka "Milla," she is serving a mission in Poland. I wonder if it's cold there. Oh yeah, it was very cold and windy in Rocky Point. The coldest we have ever seen in 5 years. Here is the big family, we are near the back of the table. Uncle Steve brought a bunch of friends along with him. This was a way good mariachi band. We were rocking out.
Joshua didn't sleep much on the 4 hour trip down, so he cuddled up to Michelle! Aren't they cute.
Ok, the kids wnated to make sand casltes. Since it was too cold to put on swimsuits, they made one in the yard by the house. They had a competition! Mom and dad's voted and WOW, it was a tie. They both one. Nathan, Alanna, Savannah, Jessica, Megan, and Alyssa. Aren't they so cute. They named them Tower of Terror and Palace Point.
Graff family. Jared caught the BIG one! Here is Nathan, Savannah and Alyssa. They are so proud of their dad. Greg and Jared took a few kids on the boat and their mission was to find Dolphins. Yep, they found 20 or so. Way cool. Mom's stayed home with the little ones. The motor stopped working and they had to use an emergency one. Had us, ok me, a LITTLE worried.
Mountain Man Danny. He turned 25! (I think, sorry Aunt Pat). Yummy cake, can't you tell that Megan sure loves dessert.
