Wicked Weekend Finale!

So we woke up bright and early, yeah right and headed to The Getty! Loved it. I totally thought of Greg, he would have loved taking pics! I didn't do that great of a job. I did take tons but they turned out all blurry. I guess i'll have to hire him to teach me about the camera. Anywho...we spent about 4 hours there and Jess was ready to shop!

Jess wanted to take this home. There were guards everywhere. You for sure couldn't touch anything. As I walked into one room my purse brused the door. Man that guard was quick, please don't touch anything even the door. It was a room that was taken apart and put back together. Everything!

She got tired of me taking pics of her and decided I needed one taken of me!

Grandma and Granddaughter...

So after The Getty. She decided she wanted to shop at the outlets in Cabazon. We made it in time to shop for about an hour. Thinking we would stay the night near them we didn't buy anything. Well after three hotels sold out and next cheapest for $199 we went into Palm Springs. If I had planned it better we would seriously not have stayed here (pic below). Not much left, spring break, we stayed there. Pretty much slept in our clothes, asked for some clean sheets and woke up at 7:30 and left asap. Grandma was great to put up with us and we teased her about PENELOPE. Ask her when you see her!

Wicked Weekend...Part 2

Went to bed at 1:00 a.m. and got up at 10 a.m. Got all ready to shop. Headed to Balbloa Island and shopped and shopped. Jess went for the jewelry! Purse in hand and ready with daddy's credit card.

Wicked Weekend...Part 1

Girl trip...Yipeee. Jessica turned 12 yesterday and we wanted to do something special. I found out "Wicked" was playing in CA. Bought tickets and surprised her. Picked up grandma on the way. Gilbert came to our aid and Jess LOVED riding in the tow truck. Had a 4 hour delay with car problems in Blythe but made is safely!It's almost one a.m. and they are both fast asleep! Wonder what we'll do tomorrow. Hope the car doesn't break.

Train Tracks!!!

Jess has had the distinct opportunity to have braces. Yep, that's what I told her. It's a privledge. She just rolled her eyes at me. But it is. Braces are expensive... She was a great patient and is sore today. I tell her only a year or so and this will enhance her beautiful smile. She replies. Awww...Mom!

Potty Completed

Josh started preschool this year. He was very excited but had to be potty trained. So I made a potty chart and bought some fun stickers. It worked for a short time and then we bribed with candy. The dollar store was raided with toys to complete the task. I think we are done and he is still asking for toys. I tell him that I ran out and need to get more. Seems to be working for now. We'll wait and see.

Where to begin. Aunt Kimmie..well she ADORES Josha Hua! Who wouldn't. She promised him that she would take him to see Toy Story 3 when it came out. I think she was ALMOST as excited as he was. He was mesmorized the entire time while sitting on her lap. Thanks Kim!

Big Sister Megan loves to dress up this boy. I think secretly she wanted a little sister. Well in some ways she got one. He was such a good sport. He has no idea what is taking place. She even showed him some catwalk moves! She is now asking for a big tutu!
